Normally, I ignore people advertising on my friends' profiles since I think it's rude to turn other people into your own personal billboards without their permission. However, the universe had other plans for me when =Akif-Magic commandeered *o-rlyization's profile a few days ago.

#dArtists-Support's contest is "Nature: Before and After." Isn't it just deliciously vague? I love it.

P.S. The lizard's terror-mouth has emotionally damaged me. As I watched the movie, I went from "that's a clever way to keep the design midway between a human and lizard face" to "his lip sync is unsettling" to "MOMMY HELP" and I can never go back.

I really loved the new Spider-man movie. Emma and Andrew were great. So was the guy who did Dr. Connors. The thing 'bout Lizard was that they didn't give him a snout. And that bothered me. But besides from that, it was amazing and epic.

I loved it too. Everyone gave a really genuine performance while still understanding they were in a comic book movie. I'd see it again for sure.

I can understand why they might have decided to go with a flatter face. It'd be a lot harder to make something with a snout look like the Rhys Ifans and, the crazier you make your model's face, the harder the rigging and lip syncing becomes. His face already had trouble making Os and Ps. Anything more extreme might have looked unbelievable to test audiences.

But.... that mouth... that mouth will be with me for the rest of my life :cries:

I'm kinda used to freakish creatures, like dinosaurs, snake monsters under the ground, aliens, predators, pokemonz, mutants, strange colorful people Marvel make, etc. So, I'm kinda used to freakish mouths and faces.

I'm fine with monstrous, toothy maws but this was a little too close to a human mouth. I don't think it quite counts as an uncanny valley issue but it's certainly some Jeff the Killer crap. No me gusta.

I couldn't help but think they entire time that this was how Killer Croc should look in a movie verse. NOT the Lizard :/

It's possible that wasn't entirely unintentional.

The fact that he was basically a naked Goomba from the Mario Bros. movie probably didn't help soften the psychological blow.

I think a certain lizard man is having too much fun with the green gas; now what are all those lizard people supposed to do now? But I can tell you had fun with it and you were quiet clever with this. :giggle:
